Aboud Dandachi is a former resident of the Syrian city of Homs. During the Syrian conflict he gave numerous interviews to the BBC and other outlets on the situation in the country.

In 2017, Aboud relocated to Toronto, Canada under the Canadian Private Sponsorship of Refugees Program.

Professionally, Aboud is a PMP and ITIL certified IT Project Manager, with a B.Sc in Computer Science. Since coming to Canada, he has managed the delivery of numerous web-based and mobile applications using a variety of technologies.

In 2019 he was a speaker at the Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre’s Holocaust Education Week. He has been published in Tablet Magazine and Canadian Jewish News.
